How we support your fertility journey

We take time to understand your reproductive history and what you’ve already explored. We discuss nutrition, supplements, sleep, stress, exercise and emotional wellbeing in the context of your everyday life. If you have existing hormonal, reproductive or microbiome test results, bring them along. We can discuss the reports and help you identify questions to take back to your GP or fertility team. Where appropriate, we can also signpost you to a qualified Chinese herbal medicine practitioner.

Your fertility assessment and written plan

Bring any cycle notes, blood tests, fertility investigations and a list of medications or supplements you’re taking. We’ll discuss cycle history, ovulation, any previous investigations and, where relevant, semen analysis results. Afterwards, you’ll receive a personalised written plan summarising what we discussed, practical steps and any questions or referrals to follow up. A couples assessment covers both partners and includes a shared written plan.

Fertility acupuncture programme

If you choose ongoing acupuncture, Rachael may suggest a 12–14-week preparation period, often starting with weekly appointments. You’ll agree the frequency together based on your circumstances, preferences and any care you’re already receiving. Follow-up sessions give you time to review how the plan is working for you.

Male fertility matters too

We encourage both partners to come to the assessment and consider acupuncture. If you already have semen analysis or sperm DNA fragmentation results, bring the reports so we can discuss them alongside your health history and lifestyle. We can help you prepare questions for your GP or fertility specialist about further tests or referral.

Fees and booking

Comprehensive Fertility Assessment — £75. Individual consultation, review of existing investigations and a personalised written plan.
Couples Fertility Assessment — £150. Consultation for both partners, review of relevant investigations and a shared written plan.
Ongoing Fertility Acupuncture — £60 per session. Individual acupuncture appointment and progress review.
